Animated .gif avatars???

does this new site accept animated .gifs for your avatar?? i tried uploading sevral times but the image remains static on first frame, unanimated. if the site does accept them, can u please tell me where i can find the uploading file size maximums for avavtars? in past experiences, exceeding the file size max is usually the cause of your animated .gif file becoming unanimated when uploaded. thanks!

No, we don't support animated avatars. I believe they make forums "noisy", and take focus away from the content... Sorry.
