Anna Luna begins by lighting a torch and performing an elegant and mesmerizing belly dance to music.
She moves with grace, skillfully removing
her outfit piece by piece in a
beautiful display that lasts about ten minutes.
Her performance is abruptly interrupted when a stranger grabs
her from behind, leaving
her defeated and helpless.
In the next scene, Anna Luna is
bound with
her legs elevated and secured to a bamboo rod.
She is subjected to 200 strikes as punishment, delivered with a
classic bamboo stick, a flexible cane, and a rigid wooden paddle.
She is required to count each strike aloud, and any mistakes or failure to keep
her feet positioned correctly result in penalty strikes, which are added after the initial count.
After 100 strikes, Anna Luna is repositioned into a chair,
her legs stretched out horizontally. The punishment resumes as
her soles endure more harsh blows, and
she continues counting. At one point,
she is tasked with balancing a cane on
her toes, when it falls,
she receives additional penalty strikes, including the use of a heated torch.
In the final moments, Anna Luna is given the choice of how to conclude
her punishment.
She selects the paddle and bravely endures the final strikes delivered by
her punisher.
