It's been over four years since we featured David Kahn when the website was a photography-only affair and we've subsequently been asked countless times to bring the mysterious man back for a follow-up shoot and film. David warned us he was a little heavier now he is currently edging towards fifteen stones partly due to some regular gym workouts (even his hands have got bigger his wedding ring no longer fits) but as he approaches fifty he admits to indulging in too many charity dinners which isn't helping his waistline we of course think it suits him well. Catching David on the hop means his body hair is annoyingly trimmed and his legs rather bruised from a weekend game of five-a-side football but he remains the amazing specimen of fatherly manhood he was before. We still cannot tell whether he enjoyed the experience or not he is clearly the strong silent type but this trouper grits his teeth and grins a lot as we cosy up to him in his five-star hotel suite.

To be closer to his work Dr Sam lives in a quaint boarding house during the week where our first shoot takes place. The large gothic house is run by a zealous Christian lady who makes no secret of trying to convert the young men who lodge with her, in fact the place felt like a weird bible study house for young single men and we couldn't help imagining the predatory spinster occasionally doping the odd loner in her parlour beside the communal kitchen and white-slave trading him off to some hood. Although Sam's landlady disapproves of her boys bringing girls back to their rooms she does politely turn a blind eye when they get lucky but even so we couldn't help feeling awfully suspicious lugging camera equipment up to Sam's attic room. As we shot him slipping out of his preppy clothes and spreading naked on his furry bedspread, the the wailings from the prayer meeting in the room below us were quite unsettling.

Edward Pitt is a builder from the South of England and was recommended to us by one of our readers. Not sure whether he was working on her house or just an acquaintance but when she sent us just one photograph of him we simply said 'yes'. Ed stills scratches his head wondering what we see in him. He's totally unaware of his strong charisma let alone his great bone structure. Perhaps that's because his parents gave him a rough start in life and certainly no early sense of value that every kid deserves. When Mr Pitt told us he'd been in fifty fights and won forty of them we assumed he was talking about his boxing days but he was actually referring to pub-style brawls: he says he didn't begin to channel his aggression into boxing until he was forty! Fifteen years of steroid use also made him a very violent angry man but he says he is now a reformed character. Pitt always longed for a son and heir but instead has a brood of girls from several relationships that he dotes on. He toils six days a week to provide for their future and this is primarily why he is working with us today. This first film features soft(ish) nudity but Ed says he's game for nearly anything. This is a rather sweet dad story for the holidays. We actually found Robert on a website advertising his services as a model in a variety of light bondage poses. We soon learned that he was a happily married family man and felt he was definitely worth meeting over a beer for further investigation! We' d seen Rob in his civvie clothes and adored the company CEO look. He reminded us of an antiques expert or many of the UK newsreaders we' ve seen over the years (Huw Edwards, Martyn Lewis?) and so we asked him to turn up in his work suit. What was odd however was how surprised he was that we were expecting a filmed solo. 'Is that what models have to do nowadays?' he asked. Somehow he hadn' t grasped from our conversations, or from viewing our website the kind of show we put on for our readers. We still thought that this shouldn' t be difficult for Robert judging from his portfolio but soon found a problem we occasionally have with some of our models especially the soldiers. They are often quite comfortable to be put in very extreme situations and be ordered to perform in a certain, even shocking way, but ask them to improvise, chat to the camera etc, and they go to pieces. Similarly Rob found that lying on a bed naked without constraints (rope) he was way out of his comfort zone finding it almost impossible to perform. We took some great photos of Mr Morrison (there is an interview to come if you're keen) and he kindly donated some photos from his modelling past to show the kind of photo set-up he' s been used to. At the very least this is a delightful story of a man who has kept a secret from his family: they have no idea that dad has been a nude model and a semi-professional wrestler for over 30 years! We do hope we can find a suitable challenge for this interesting man.
