Version 0.176:
started a process of transitioning the game from using movie animations towards using sprite-based animations: for now about a couple dozen characters have the new battle animations, more to come.
fixed a loving kiss of death skill causing an error on use
fixed a bug with girl troubles quest, asking divine about each girl caused an error on repeat
fixed a bug with assassin/valchek smoke bomb skill causing an error
fixed a bug with nyx romance not triggering if you have "Failed" the slavemaster quest
improved save update code in various ways: skill point recalculation and more
fixed a bug with mc & markus staying transformed after the Beast of Novaras quest
fixed "zanzibat" character entry causing error on loading a game
fixed plenty typos all over the game
fixed elena's poisoned fangs skill to no longer cause a crash on use
other smaller fixes/tweaks
big stuff:
- new act 2 quest: The Beast of Novaras
- multiple sex scenes as a part of the new quest
- new area: Hamun spa, a bathhouse with corresponding services
- new area: Hamun Arena with 10 battles to beat and a boss fight to tackle
- Sypha as a party character, with her own skillset
- new characters: Luna, Garen, Yarrick, Lord Zanzibat and more
- TRANSLATION SUPPORT. Two translations now ship with the game: spanish and chinese. Both should be about 99% complete.
Smaller additions/tweaks:
- new fort sebastian battle map
- new abandoned fort (end of prologue) battle map
- notifications will now stay on screen 2x longer
- fixed (now hopefully forever) the wait button to not flicker in-out when its unnecessary
- fixed price of life guild quest to not be available during novaras siege
- you can now see hp/ep bars of party chars in pre-battle character selection screen
- fixed some visual artifacts in dros sex animations
- fixed markus face sprites to not glitch out on expression change
- fixed small ui layout bug in journal
- more changes/fixes/improvements to save update routine
- fixed plenty typos
- plenty backend enginework
