Gameplay & Features
Death functionality is now implemented. Neglect and mismanagement can permanently remove a companion.
Thirst is now fully integrated and has real gameplay impact.
Ration sizes are now detailed with clear effects:
Half / normal / double rations influence recovery pacing and outcomes.
A new system prevents companions from being trained beyond the player’s current level (where applicable), tightening progression balance.
Scavenging is now tied directly to the actual skill.
Fixes & Optimization
Trade UI improvements:
Added/expanded inventory visibility and currency clarity (currency symbols added).
Improved Game Over transition.
Added hints to better communicate which training stats to improve.
Display now shows max health and stamina for both player and companions.
Fixed a reported inventory screen bug.
Fixed Bonetown gate event button not unlocking correctly.
General fixes to companion panel behavior.
