he match has quite an aggressive start, where the fighters reveal their determination without exhitating, no waiting! Much action happens on the mats and if technique is not at the top - mustn't we forget that this happens to be the first match for both - each tries her best to overpower the other.

We see the girls trying to apply holds on the mats, headlocks and bodyscissors follow, with a careful referee ready to stop the action in case of danger. and with one girl often flying to the ground, thrown by her opponent with no compliments.

Despite an even match, one of the wrestlers will show her bicep to the camera in the end!

IFW24_1 - Robi vs Stella




Stella's first competitive match is against the veteran Robi. She has the weight advantage on her side, a considerable difference which comes handy when pinning the opponent down to the mat. On the other hand, Robi has long experience and knows how to apply holds effectively. But today she found a rock-solid opponent, with good endurance and very tough.
Pin attempts are many on both sides, as well as headlocks, crushing head and body scissors and smothers. the match is interesting and even as both the wrestlers try to exploit their advantage at best. It may not be the most dynamic match compared to many other, still this one has the intense fascination of the close body to body, muscle to muscle confrontation where none of the two wants to give up till the last second.

IFW25_2 - Giorgia vs Andrea




Maybe because lately many of the fans believe that Robi has taken the place of Andrea at the top of the IFW ranking, we see Andrea with a renewed enthusiasm, putting all her energies in every match like if it's a matter of life and death.
Here she faces Giorgia. After seeing her dominate and almost make fun of Ambra, Andrea decided that Giorgia was too confident and needed to be put back to her place, and here she is. Aggressive, determined, almost angry. On the other hand, Giorgia has a temper and by no means she is willing to learn any lessons today, especially from a younger girl. The match is terrific, the tension is thick and smiles are unnatural.
Both know that the key are Andrea's legs: should Giorgia be able to stay clear of them, she could use her upper body strength to prevail. otherwise she would be in trouble. Both are quick and know how to wrestle, you will hold your breath until the very end!

If Stella's muscles are always ready to overpower Angelica, she has surprising stamina and her effectiveness in escaping the holds grows as Stella gets more and more tired. The match has unexpected intensity and it's a really good, pause-less fight until the end. Angelica proves to be an extremely interesting and promising new face at IFW! And her smile.

IFW30_3 - Stella vs Lia





After quite a few weeks of training, Lia is ready for her debut against Stella. They have similar bodies but Stella has much longer wrestling experience and she's going to take advantage of it. She is determined to show Lia that to be an IFW girl means being ready to suffer, especially in the first matches. On the other hand, Lia is not the one who can be intimidated, and reacts to her opponent's attacks with surprising energy and stamina. Her first words during the match are: "her scissor cannot hurt me!".
So sit back and enjoy Lia's first battle on the mats, where the two "big girls" of IFW try to submit each other with pins and scissors for the whole match, without a pause.
One of the most impressive and highly competitive debut-matches ever seen at IFW. Congratulations to both the wrestlers!
