We're just back from visiting
young Edward as
he starts
his final year at university after taking a year's break of work experience.
He is thoroughly
enjoying student life away from the family home again but not being broke, so it was fun to be able to come to
his rescue. It was also a delight to shoot
him in
his own surroundings at last, amongst
classic student debris: piles of dirty washing, a bottle of tomato ketchup, chocolate rice krispies tucked down the side of
his bed and the comforting reminder of home in a boyhood pillow case
he's brought wth
him. Edward has bulked up quite a bit – mainly
his legs and thighs from playing heaps more squash but perhaps the most amusing development is the method
he now occasionally employs to make a few extra pennies. The days of bar work and shelf stacking are long gone for the
cute bold lad of today; with a laptop and some new found confidence (that we've certainly helped
him discover) Edward has found an ingenious new way of making a little extra income which
he talks about in explicit detail in this delicious catch-up film.
