Jean-Louis Vatier dreams of
his lovely staircase neighbor, Brigitte Lahaye, although
his dreams sometimes turn into nightmares involving
his helmet colleague Dominique Aveline. One particularly bizarre and violent sequence does not become more observable with some slow fights accompanied by the usual "energizing" saxophone music instead of the more menacing music, but this whole movie is one
big incomprehensible trip anyway, so the viewer is better off preparing for more distant scenes. Pierre wakes up to find
his beautiful blonde wife (although
she is not Bridget), played by Ursula White. Obviously, their marriage is in trouble,
he lives with
him in a world made up by
him, while
she, Janine, got a lover of the same
sex (Lillian Lemieuvre as a Rosette).
Pierre notices Bridget at the bookstore and begins to fantasize again. Uh, uh, ejaculation shot is definitely a fantasy!
He then returns home to dream of separating Bridget from
his wife. Well, at least
he hasn't completely forgotten about
his spouse. In turn,
she made an appointment with a psychiatrist, Madame Gabrielle Dullan, an elderly
woman who is just as sexually liberated (or it should be unrestrained) like everyone else:
she lets
him fondle
her breasts while
he tells
her his troubles. Naturally,
he drifts back to Lalaland, this time also including the psychiatrist's maid, while
her employer gets to
